Shelter reservations can be made online 24 hours a day, or in person at the Delmas Long Community Center (200 Memorial Drive) during business hours, Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The best place to look for youth and adult athletic league information is on the Athletics page. Many of the larger leagues are managed by independent organizations that use the City’s fields. Links to their sites can all be found on the youth athletic page.

In short, the answer is yes, but we will need to talk with you to determine how your event is classified. If you are wanting to rent space to hold a family event, you can make an online reservation request. If you are wanting to host an event for the general public, give us a call so we can determine availability and if your event is allowable in a park 615.851.2200
Deposits are required for rentals of indoor facilities and for special events. Most of the time, refunds are generated within two weeks of your reservation date. If paid with a credit or debit card, the refund will be returned to the original form of payment. If payment was made with cash or check, a check will be mailed to you. If you don't receive a refund, please call us and let us know. 615.851.2200
You cannot bring a grill to any City of Goodlettsville parks. Charcoal grills are available at each shelter and at many of the picnic areas.

Yes, there is access to water at each pavilion.
Most of the time you can have an inflatable at your pavilion rental, but you will have to complete a Special Park Use application and have the owner of the inflatable provide the City with proof of liability insurance.
Yes, tables and chairs are provided with your rental. You will need to be prepared to set up and break down before and after your rental and store them in their original location.
The administrative office for Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation is located in the Delmas Long Community Center, 200 Memorial Drive, Goodlettsville.
We have several ways you can be informed of Parks and Rec events and programs. Our email blast takes place through "Notify Me". You can sign up for that and receive updates to your email. Our facebook page is a another great way to keep up with what is going on. We post events and info on our timeline. Our webpages have calendars that are constantly updated with any new and existing programs.
We currently have six parks. The largest is Moss-Wright Park at 147 acres, the oldest is Peay Park where the community center is located, Pleasant Green Park is where the outdoor pool is located. We also have two neighborhood parks - Gateway Park at 425 Janette Ave and Brooks Park at the end of Mason Lane. North Creek Park is an undeveloped park on Jackson Road.

We do have lost and found locations. If you lose an item in one of the parks, our Parks Division may have it. If you lose an item at the Community Center, you can check with the front desk to see if anyone has found it. If you lose an item around Mansker's Station, please check with the staff at the Visitor's Center. More info here.

Most of the programs offered by Goodlettsville Parks and Rec are listed on our online registration site. You may register there 24 hours a day, or you may stop by the Community Center to talk to us during operating hours.

Dogs are not permitted on the walking trails according to Municipal Code Section 2-104, Section E.
Pets are to be leashed at all times on leashes not greater than 5' in length.
Yes, there are restricted areas that pets are not allowed. This includes trails, spectator, practice and game areas, and playgrounds.
Fields are reserved through the Athletics and Events Coordinator. Please call 615-851-2255.
There are two marked trails in Moss-Wright Park. The blue trail is 2 miles. The red trail is 1.5 miles. Markers start at the trail head at the west end of the park. The trail at Pleasant Green Park is .5 mile.
Strollers are allowed on the trails. If walking with multiple strollers, please move over to allow others to pass. Bikes are not currently allowed on the trails.

The pool is open from the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend to the first Sunday in August.

We provide convenient ways to purchase pool passes. You may buy online through our registration system, you may buy from the Community Center, or you may buy at the pool during operation hours.
Discounts are provided, but it depends on what type of group you have. Child care provider groups can find information here. If you have a group that is not part of child care, the best option for a discount is through the purchase of a Plunge Pass. Find rates for the Plunge Passes at the bottom of this page.
Yes, we offer private pool rentals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Find information related to rates and availability here.
Goodlettsville Parks and Rec offers swim lessons each summer. These are group lessons for kids ages 4-12. Find more information here.
You may bring food and drink to Pleasant Green Pool, however no glass containers or alcohol are not permitted.
We do! Our swim team is a recreational team designed to give kids more experience in the water while learning to cooperate and develop their strokes. Find more details here.
